The theme for the 2018 Colloquium:  “The African Digital University: Strategic Perspectives”.

The Colloquium provided a forum for academics, policy makers and other stakeholders in South African Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to share their knowledge, perspectives and experiences as well as learning from colleagues at different institutional levels about the sustainable integration of digital technologies into HE programmes.

Attendees were be exposed to a broad overview of the strategic implementation of digital technologies at institutional level, examples of national HE programme renewal approaches as well as a number of Stellenbosch University case studies.
